On other assorted notes, I love Rizzabella. For this anecdote, and for this ticker. I'd love to hack the LJs of various and sundry teen mommies with it.

Geeky is a fucking obnoxious cunt who'd probably fit real well into CF_H. Doctors who won't sterilize CF women are a "myth"? And everybody should be "happy for" her after she's walked onto a forum where no one knows her and spouted that bullshit? Another waste of skin who thinks that her experiences are universal. "I wanted to encourage people that if they look hard enough, keep their chin up and keep trying, they will succeed." Shut the fuck up, you 23-year-old know-it-all. SMMY is right on the money.

Oh, and why am I not surprised that not only is Geeky an Aspie, but she thinks it exempts her from having to try to have a little empathy and tact? Nancy's absolutely right: "The people who complain loudest about being misunderstood often have no empathy for what anyone else is feeling at all." (Remind you of anyone we used to know, btw?)

I'm still at work right now; we aren't allowed IM because we work with highly sensitive financial stuff. I was going to stay later than usual, as I came in later than usual, but it's slow and I'll probably just head home in less than an hour, as I normally do. If you're still up in, say, two hours and a quarter from now, try pinging me. Or maybe we can talk by phone later in the weekend...
